Luz de Jesus Institute: Porto Seco Centro Oeste collaborates with the maintenance of the Luz de Jesus Institute, which welcomes children and adolescents at risk and with physical disabilities. The institution was founded in 1993 and houses seventy inmates sent by the municipality’s Childhood and Youth Court. (Location: Rua 38, Qd. 46, Lt. 01-12 Bairro Recanto do Sol – Anápolis-GO).
Toy distribution: Every year, at Christmas time, Porto Seco Centro Oeste, in partnership with the Jeep Clube de Anápolis, distributes toys to children from needy neighborhoods in the city of Anápolis. The caravan of volunteers visits the neighborhoods and in addition to the toys, the little ones also get candy from Santa’s hands.
Mc Dia Feliz: Porto Seco buys sandwiches and distributes them to daycare centers, shelters and poor neighborhood organizations. In addition, it promotes a fun day taking the children from these institutions to participate in the campaign and have lunch at Mc Donald’s restaurant.
“Citizen Company” Title: Porto Seco Centro Oeste has the title “Citizen Company” granted by the Rotary Club Anápolis, for supporting the entity’s social projects.
