Quality, Technology and Innovation

Porto Seco Centro Oeste S/A is a private customs terminal for public use, destined for the storage and handling of imported goods, or destined for export, being used as a facilitator of Foreign Trade Operations. It was the first Dry Port in the central-west region, created through public competition, in which entrepreneurs from Goiás formed a consortium that won the bid, thus obtaining the license for the provision of customs services. It took two years from permission to implantation, in view of the adjustments required by the Federal Revenue Service, contained in the Bidding Notice. Customs cleared in September 1999, the institution incorporated in the region a new and important logistical alternative, playing a fundamental role in the development of the State, bringing it closer to the globalized market

The third largest Brazilian Dry Port was planned and built with the purpose of offering customized solutions for the provision of customs services, enabling the growth of its customers and contributing to the socioeconomic development of the State of Goiás.

Leader in the region in logistics for the storage and handling of domestic and foreign cargo, Porto Seco Centro-Oeste S / A has a variety of services associated with strong technological integration, advanced infrastructure and specialized team. The Terminal also offers tailor-made solutions for companies that need to strategically sell their products to all of Brazil.

The organization offers the most modern international standards of quality, safety and agility.

Porto Seco Centro Oeste occupies a prominent position among the large warehousing and customs services companies in the interior of Brazil, especially with regard to location. Porto is in a strategically privileged region, in the city of Anápolis – GO. Considered the “Trevo do Brasil”, the region is close to the major economic centers of the country, which allows ease and significant cost reduction in the flow of products to the domestic and foreign markets.

In addition to easy road access, Porto Seco Centro Oeste has a railroad, offering an additional facility to combine the resources of its customers and offer the best transport option. Thus, different types of cargo can be transported, interconnecting the entire Midwest market to other parts of the country, making great distances economically competitive.

At the Customs Station, companies that operate in foreign trade find all their own services gathered in one place, with the constant presence of the Federal Revenue of Brazil; ANVISA (National Health Surveillance Agency) of the Ministry of Health; and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply.

Porto Seco de Anápolis is one of the private companies that most apply logistics in the Midwest and that attracts the most investments to the region. In 2010, more than US $ 2 billion in goods passed through its terminals.

Anchor of the Multimodal Logistics Platform and the Cargueiro de Anápolis Airport, Porto Seco Centro-Oeste works with one objective: to offer customized solutions for the provision of customs services, enabling the growth of its customers and generating development for Anápolis, Goiás and Brazil.
